Uzumasa Sengoku Festival Announced
Kyoto, Japan – September 8, 2007 - The Uzumasa Sengoku Festival will be holding a two-day anime, game, and samurai festival from September 29 through September 30.
The festival takes place at the Toei Kyoto Studio Park (Toei Eigamura), where an entire ancient Japanese village set is housed.
The Toei Kyoto Studio Park is a working studio and theme park where visitors can observe the filming of samurai and period dramas, watch live shows, go on rides, and experience the atmosphere of ancient Japan. The Uzumasa Sengoku Festival is a collaborative event between public, industry, and academic organizations to recognize the development of the film and entertainment industry in Uzumasa, Kyoto. The major organizations include Kyoto Prefecture Government, Toei Kyoto Studio, Toei Kyoto Studio Park, Tablier Communications, Inc., Sengokudama Project, Ritsumeikan University, and Kyoto Saga University of Arts. Events of the festival include an International Film Conference, Cinema Festival, Anime Screenings, Music PV Screenings, Music Show, Talk Show, Market, and Cosplay.
