Toon Radio Returns

After a month hiatus, Toon Radio resumes broadcasting. The animation soundtrack internet broadcast reopened its website http://www.toonradio.net last week to much fanfare. The new server has been designed to handle all the future expansions and projects currently planned.

Included in the reopening of the broadcast, two fan favorite anime shows: Anime in the Limelight and Adventures in Anime Music; resume their old schedules. Anime in the Limelight has been posting its highest listenership since it began broadcasting on Toon Radio in January. The program that combines anime music, news and the wit of its host Max continues to grow in popularity. Adventures in Anime Music is also gaining in listenership.

On a lighter note, Toon Radio has struck a deal with Animation Headquarters. Animation HQ will produce an animation news program and hourly segments for Toon Radio. This new show will cover expanded news coverage, reviews, and other animation industry insider content via a live broadcast. Play times and start date are still being determined by the date of this press release, though an early April start has been suggested.
