As of writing, the BBC iPlayer platform is streaming the first 516 English-dubbed episodes of Toei Animation's One Piece, comprising the East Blue, Alabasta, Sky Island, Water Seven, Thriller Bark and Summit War arcs.

On August 31, the BBC website announced that it had acquired the rights to more than a thousand English-dubbed episodes of One Piece.

The BBC also announced that a total of 1085 episodes will be available on BBC iPlayer by the end of 2024. That accounts for ten arcs of the series, up to the end of the Wano Country arc.

The English dub of One Piece had not been previously available for streaming in the U.K.

In addition, the October 13 episode of the BBC series Points of View, available here, includes fans of the series praising its appearance on BBC iPlayer,

Toei Animation's TV anime version of the manga by Eiichiro Oda began in Japan in 1999. The BBC website describes it as "an adventure story that follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy and his crew - the Straw Hat Crew – as he explores the Grand Line in search of the mythical treasure known as the “One Piece” in order to become the next King of the Pirates."

Grateful thanks to Ian Wolf for the heads-up.
