Cartoon Network Announces Indian Language Dubs for One Piece Anime's Wano Arc

Anime airs in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada every Sunday at 1:00 p.m. IST; Channel reveals Hindi dubbed trailer

Cartoon Network India announced at Mumbai Comic Con on Saturday that it will air the One Piece anime's "Wano Arc" starting on May 5 with five Indian language dubs. The channel will air One Piece: Land of Wano Arc in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada every Sunday at 1:00 p.m. IST with a rerun at 9:00 p.m. IST.

The channel began streaming a Hindi trailer for the anime on YouTube on Saturday.

Cartoon Network also revealed the Hindi dub cast for the anime:

  • Vaibhav Thakkar as Luffy
  • Kaith Handa as Usopp
  • Nikita Salaskar as Chopper
  • Pragti Kothari as Robin

Crunchyroll added episodes 892-1077 of the anime in India on September 30 and began streaming episode 1078 onwards from October 1.

The ongoing anime adaptation of Eiichiro Oda's One Piece manga premiered in 1999. Crunchyroll describes the anime:

Netflix added the 2014 special edition of the 2008 One Piece: Episode of Chopper + Fuyu ni Saku, Kiseki no Sakura anime film, the One Piece: Strong World anime film, and the One Piece Film Z anime in India earlier this year. The streaming service added the One Piece Film Gold anime movie in India on January 15. It added the One Piece Film Red anime in India on December 15. The film opened in India in October 2022.
