Kadokawa Acquires Thai Manga, Light Novel Publisher First Page Pro

Kadokawa's Thai subsidiary Kadokawa Amarin now largest publisher of manga, light novels in Thailand
Kadokawa announced on December 22 that its Thai subsidiary Kadokawa Amarin has acquired a majority stake in Thai manga and light novel localization and publishing company First Page Pro, turning the company into a subsidiary of Kadokawa Amarin.
Disclosure: Kadokawa World Entertainment (KWE), a wholly owned subsidiary of Kadokawa Corporation, is the majority owner of Anime News Network, LLC. One or more of the companies mentioned in this article are part of the Kadokawa Group of Companies.
The move makes Kadokawa Amarin the largest publisher of manga and light novels in Thailand.
Kadokawa established Kadokawa Amarin in 2016 to locazlize and publish manga and light novels in the Thai market.
First Page Pro was established in 2014, and publishes over 120 books annually.
Kadokawa announced its intent to create an "IP creation structure" in Southeast Asia in 2022.
