Crunchyroll Announces 'First-Ever Special Screening in India' in Mumbai

Crunchyroll announced on its Indian Instagram account on Saturday that it will host its "first-ever special screening in India" on July 20 at 5:30 p.m. IST at Maison PVR, Jio World Drive Mumbai. Registrations for the event are open and the company will allocate seats for the screening on a first-come, first-served basis.

The screening is in collaboration with Comic Con India.

Crunchyroll announced on Friday that it has entered into a promotional partnership with Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff. The company stated that the partnership intends to "promote the art of anime in India."

Crunchyroll did giveaways for free 30-day subscriptions to attendees who visited the streaming service's experience zone at Mumbai Comic Con 2023. Crunchyroll attended the Bengaluru Comic Con, Delhi Comic Con, and Mumbai Comic Con events this year.
