Assassins Pride, pictured left: The 2019 television anime of Kei Amagi's Assassins Pride light novel series. It takes place in a world where only those from noble families have the mana to be able to fight against monsters. Kazuya Aiura (episode director on Citrus, My Sister, My Writer) directed the anime at EMT Squared (The Master of Ragnarok & Blesser of Einherjar, Kuma Miko: Girl Meets Bear).
IRODUKU: The World in Colors, pictured right: The story takes place in Nagasaki in a world where a small amount of magic remains in everyday life. A descendant of mages, 17-year-old Hitomi lost her sense of color at a young age and grew up lacking emotion. Her grandmother Kohaku, a great mage, sends Hitomi to the past, to the year 2018. There, she spends time with a 17-year-old Kohaku and friends from club activities. Toshiya Shinohara (A Lull in the Sea, Black Butler, The Book of Bantorra) directed the anime. Infinite produced the work.
Flying Witch, pictured left: The anime adapts Chihiro Ishizuka's Flying Witch manga. The series is set in the Japanese prefecture of Aomori, where 15 year-old Makoto Kowata, 15 years old, is training in a witch, though her powers are limited to flying through the sky. Katsushi Sakurabi (Gunparade March, Heaven's Memo Pad, Lunar Legend Tsukihime) directed the anime at the studio J.C. Staff.
Non Non Biyori, pictured right: MVM specifies that it has acquired all the seasons of the anime adaptation of Atto's Non Non Biyori rural comedy manga. The story takes place in the countryside, where the nearest bookstore is 20 minutes away by bicycle, a certain "Ju_p" magazine comes out on Wednesdays instead of Mondays, and the video rental store is 10 stations away. Hotaru Ichijō transfers from Tokyo to this school and readjusts to the slow life in the country. Her fellow schoolmates are Natsumi, Komari, Renge, and Komari's big brother Suguru in the third year of middle school.
