Hamasaki's staff have canceled the concert she had planned to hold on Sunday in the same arena, and will determine if she can perform in future concerts based on medical guidance.
Hamasaki has contributed theme songs to the InuYasha television anime series and the InuYasha the Movie: Affections Touching Across Time film, the live-action film SHINOBI - Heart Under Blade, the live-action Dragonball: Evolution film, the Buddha 2: Tezuka Osamu no Buddha - Owarinaki Tabi anime film, and the Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams OVA.
She played Yuri Sakazaki in the original anime video Art of Fighting (Battle Spirits Ryuko no Ken), and her "Connected" song inspired an animated music video. She also performed the theme songs for the Tales of Xillia and Tales of Xillia 2 games.
