Chōdenshi Bioman Actor Ryosuke Sakamoto Recovers from Esophageal Cancer

Sakamoto was diagnosed in August 2016
Chōdenshi BIOMAN actress Michiko Makino revealed on Friday that fellow BIOMAN actor Ryōsuke Sakamoto has recovered from esophageal cancer, after having been in remission for five years.
Sakamoto announced his diagnosis during an event in August 2016.
Sakamoto played Shirō Gō (Red One) in the 1984 Chōdenshi BIOMAN series.
