Ani-One Asia Streams RE-MAIN Water Polo Anime

Hong Kong content distributor MediaLink Entertainment Limited 's Ani-One Asia service announced on Thursday that it will stream a simulcast of MAPPA's original water polo television anime RE-MAIN, with the stream premiering on July 4 at 1:30 a.m. GMT +8. The anime will be available for users in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Fiji, Guam, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Micronesia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nauru, Nepal, New Caledonia, Northern Mariana Island, Pakistan, Palau, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Samoa, Seychelles, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Vanuatu, and Vietnam.
Ani-One Asia also announced that it will stream the television anime of Koharu Inoue's The Duke of Death and His Maid (Shinigami Bocchan to Kuro Maid) manga in Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan beginning on July 4 at 9:30 p.m. GMT +8.
The RE-MAIN anime's story centers on Minato, a boy who stopped playing water polo due to a certain incident in the winter of his third middle school year. He picks the sport back up again with a new team when he starts in high school, but the fledgling team runs into many problems.
Tiger & Bunny head writer Masafumi Nishida serving as co-creator, chief director, series script supervisor and scriptwriter for every episode, and is also credited as audio director. Kiyoshi Matsuda (Kuma Miko: Girl Meets Bear, Kakegurui season 2) is directing the anime at MAPPA under Nishida's supervision. Aori Fujika (Name romanization unconfirmed) is designing the original character concepts, and Shiho Tanaka (Banana Fish episode animation director, Twittering Birds Never Fly: The Clouds Gather animation director) is adapting those designs for animation. Kana Utatane (TaWaRa) is composing the music.
South Korean boy band group ENHYPEN perfoms the anime's opening theme song "Forget Me Not." Shugo Nakamura performs the ending theme song "Kowareta Sekai no Byōshin wa" (The Second Hand of a Broken World).
The Duke of Death and His Maid will premiere in Japan on July 4. Aniplus-Asia is airing a simulcast of the anime in Southeast Asia.
The manga's story centers on the titular Duke of Death, cursed to steal the life from any living thing that he touches. He is accompanied by his maid Alice, who enjoys teasing him, but is the only remaining person devoted to him.
Yoshiki Yamakawa (Kill Me Baby, Little Busters!, Hi Score Girl) is directing the anime at J.C. Staff. Shogakukan Music & Digital Entertainment is in charge of the CGI. Hideki Shirane (Date A Live, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?) is in charge of series composition. Michiru Kuwabata (Danchi Tomoo, Hi Score Girl) is drawing the character designs. Yūsuke Suzuki is the CG director. Gen Okuda and Takeshi Watanabe are composing the music.
Inoue launched the manga on Shogakukan's Sunday Webry web manga site in October 2017. Shogakukan published the manga's 12th compiled book volume on May 12.
