Indonesian Doraemon Dub Actress Nurhasanah Iskandar Passes Away at 62

The official Instagram account of journalist and Indonesian voice actress Nurhasanah Iskandar announced on Sunday that she passed away on the same day, July 12 at 3:00 p.m. GMT +7. She was 62.
Nurhasanah was perhaps best known as the Indonesian dub voice actress for the titular character of the anime Doraemon, having voiced the character the longest for 25 years since 1993, after inheriting the role from Anita Riyadi. She began to step away from the role in 2018 due to health issues, and her son Dana Robbyansyah has been voicing the character since then. She also performed Indonesian dubs for various other television series. She was also a journalist and newscaster for Radio of the Republic of Indonesia (RRI), and also produced radio plays for the station in her early years with the station.
