Aniplus Asia to Open BanG Dream! Collaboration Cafe in Singapore

Southeast Asian anime distributor Aniplus-Asia announced on Thursday that it will open a collaboration cafe for the BanG Dream! franchise at Espalanade Mall in Singapore on November 29. The cafe will be the first collaboration cafe for the franchise outside of Japan.
The main BanG Dream! television anime's first 13-episode season from ISSEN and Xebec premiered in January 2017. Animax Asia aired a simulcast of the anime in Southeast Asia. The anime's second season premiered on January 3. The BanG Dream! 3rd Season television anime will debut in January 2020.
The franchise also inspired an anime film titled BanG Dream! FILM LIVE, which opened in 56 theaters in Japan on September 13. The film has sold about 152,000 tickets to earn more than 300 million yen (about US$2.75 million) at the Japanese box office as of October 27.
The BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! smartphone game launched in Japan in March 2017, and an English version launched in April 2018. The game launched in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao in October 2018.
The franchise's Argonavis all-male band will have both an anime and a game project. The anime will debut in spring 2020.
