Free Hiroyuki Imaishi Talk in Edinburgh on October 18

The Scotland Loves Anime festival has added an Education Day event on Friday October 18, from 10.30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is free but must be booked at the above link. The venue is the Main Lecture Theatre at the Edinburgh College of Art (room E22).
Among the speakers will be Promare's director Hiroyuki Imaishi, who also directed Gurren Lagann and Kill la Kill, along with character designer Shigeto Koyama and producer Hiromi Wakabayashi. They will all be talking about their experiences of Studio Trigger and the making of their new film Promare, pictured right.
The event will also include a talk between Shūzō Shiota, the president and CEO of Polygon Pictures, and Jack Liang who heads the studio's International Business Development. There will be a UK premiere screening of Polygon Pictures' new Netflix Original work, Levius (pictured left), a 3D CG series based on Haruhisa Nakata's science-fiction boxing manga, which will premiere worldwide this winter:
