&CAST!!! Hour Love Nights Radio Program Gets Short Anime in 2020
posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Nippon Cultural Broadcasting and Bandai Namco Entertainment announced on Monday that their &CAST!!! Hour Love Nights radio program is inspiring a short anime titled Love Nights! A.D that will debut in Bandai Namco Entertainment's &CAST!!! live streaming app in 2020. The anime will star the hosts of the radio program, which include Showtaro Morikubo, Hiroyuki Yoshino, Jun Fukuyama, Junichi Suwabe, and Tsubasa Yonaga.
The anime's story is set in both a celestial realm of angels and demons, as well as Nippon Cultural Broadcasting in the mortal realm. The angels, who use the power of love to protect the peace of the Earth, have their sight set on the "Love Nights!" radio program, so they send rookie angels to Nippon Cultural Broadcasting, and end up fighting the demons that face them. Morikubo, Yoshino, Fukuyama, and Suwabe play the angels and demons in conflict, while Yonaga plays the goddess in the celestial realm who stands neutral in the conflict.
The Anime Beans team of Production I.G's Anime Beans app will handle the anime's production. Mugen Mitogawa is handling the character illustrations, while Izumi Funasaki is penning the scripts.
Bandai Namco Entertainment launched its &CAST!!! app for live streaming in 2018. The &CAST!!! Hour Love Nights program airs at 1:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. every weekday.
