Zoids Wild Franchise Gets New Manga in August (Updated)

The July issue of Shogakukan's Monthly Coro Coro Comics magazine revealed on June 14 that the Zoids franchise is inspiring a new manga that will debut in the magazine in the September issue in August. The new manga will be set in the future, and will feature a new protagonist whose partner is Beast Liger. The magazine also teased that it will reveal more information about new models in the "second generation" of the Zoids Wild franchise in the August issue in mid-July.
Takara Tomy announced the Zoids Wild franchise (pictured at right) in February 2018 with a planned anime, manga, model kit line, and Nintendo Switch game. Moricha launched the manga in Monthly Coro Coro Comics in April 2018, and ended it in the June issue of the magazine on May 15.
The Zoids Wild anime premiered in July 2018, and will end with the 50th episode on June 29. The Zoids Wild King of Blast Switch game launched on February 28.
Update on July 13: The official YouTube channel for Monthly Coro Coro Comics is streaming a video previewing the manga, now titled Zoids Wild 2. The manga will launch in the September issue on August 10. Moricha is again drawing the manga.
