Astra Lost in Space Anime's Promo Video, Ad Preview Opening Theme

The official website for the television anime of Kenta Shinohara's Astra Lost in Space (Kanata no Astra) manga began streaming a new promotional video and commercial for the anime on Friday. The videos both preview the anime's opening song "star*frost" by nonoc, as well as the main cast's voices.
The anime will premiere on AT-X at 9:00 p.m on July 3. It will also debut on the same day on Tokyo MX, TV Aichi, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and BS11 channels, as well as the d Anime Store and Amazon Prime Video streaming services in Japan. The anime will begin its broadcast with a one-hour special, and the first episode will have an advance screening at the EJ Anime Theater Shinjuku in Tokyo on July 1.

Masaomi Andō (White Album 2, School-Live!, Scum's Wish) is directing the anime at Lerche. Norimitsu Kaihō (School-Live!, Gunslinger Stratos: The Animation, Magical Girl Spec-Ops Asuka) is in charge of the series' scripts. Keiko Kurosawa (Re:␣Hamatora, Scum's Wish, Asobi Asobase) is designing the characters and serving as the main chief animation director. Masaru Yokoyama (Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, Queen's Blade: The Exiled Virgin) and Nobuaki Nobusawa (Steins;Gate 0, Dagashi Kashi) are composing the music. Riko Azuna will perform the ending song "Glow at the Velocity of Light."
