New Monster Strike Net Anime Premieres on Saturday

Nana Mizuki reprises role as Arthur in Arthur Kishiō no Kakusei anime

The official website for the Monster Strike the Animation anime announced on May 4 that a new web anime series titled Arthur Kishiō no Kakusei (The Awakening of Arthur, King of Knights) will premiere on the Monster Strike YouTube channel on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. Nana Mizuki is reprising her role as Arthur from Monster Strike The Movie, and will also perform the anime's opening song "Born Free."

XFLAG also has a separate YouTube channel for English-subtitled versions of the episodes. Crunchyroll has also been streaming the various anime on its website.

The first 52-episode net anime season premiered in October 2015. The first part of the show's second season premiered in April 2017, and ran until September 2017. The second part of the second season, titled Monster Strike the Anime: The Fading Cosmos, premiered in October 2017, and ran for 13 episodes.

The anime's third season premiered in July 2018 and aired for 12 episodes. After that the franchise has aired five episodes in an Arthur spinoff series, seven episodes in a Lucifer spinoff series, and 13 episodes in a Solomon spinoff series (all of which are considered part of the overall third season of the anime). XFLAG did not indicate that Arthur Kishiō no Kakusei would start a new season of the show.

The Monster Strike The Movie anime film opened in Japan in December 2016. Crunchyroll began streaming the film in May 2017. The second film in the franchise, Monster Strike The Movie: Sora no Kanata (Beyond the Sky), opened in Japan last October.
