Philippine Channel IBC-13 Plans to Air Classic Anime

State-owned Philippine broadcaster IBC-13 announced in a press conference on Tuesday that it plans to air classic anime titles on the channel. IBC-13 president and CEO Katherine De Castro revealed during the press conference that the broadcasting company is hoping to meet producers to negotiate the titles. She did not reveal the titles or broadcasting dates of the anime.
IBC-13 previously aired anime in the 1990s, including Ghost Fighter (Yū Yū Hakusho), Dragon Ball, Voltes V, Gatchaman, and Getter Robo among others. The channel was among many Filipino channels air anime during that time period, alongside ABS-CBN, GMA-7, Studio 23, and RPN-9.
