Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer Game Gets Smartphone Release

Spike Chunsoft revealed on Friday that Chunsoft's Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer (Fushigi no Dungeon: Fūrai no Shiren) game will get a release on smartphones. The game will be a single-player game that will retail for 1,800 yen (about US$16).
Spike Chunsoft had teased late last month that it would release a dungeon role-playing game "within the next few days." The company had planned to release the game this week, but stated it needs more time to make final modifications before release.
Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer was the second installment in Chunsoft's Mystery Dungeon series rogue-like games. The game originally launched on the Super Famicom in Japan in 1995, and Chunsoft later released a remake for the Nintendo DS in 2006 in Japan and in 2008 in the West.
