Anime Boston to Host Kingdom Hearts Composer Yoko Shimomura

The Anime Boston convention announced on Friday that it will host composer Yoko Shimomura at this year's event. She will appear on April 19 and 20. This will be Shimomura's second time attending the convention.
Shimomura is perhaps best known in the West for composing the score for the Kingdom Hearts series, and she has also contributed to a number of other games including Final Fantasy XV, Xenoblade Chronicles, Legend of Mana, Street Fighter II, Parasite Eve,, and Radiant Historia. She also composed music for the Hi Score Girl, Dan Doh!!, and Best Student Council television anime as well as the Napping Princess anime film.
This year's Anime Boston will take place at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston from April 19-21. Shimomura is the first Japanese guest the convention has announced thus far.
