2nd Fate/stay Night: Heaven's Feel Opens in Malaysia on April 18

Malaysian cinema chain GSC Movies began streaming an English-subtitled trailer on Wednesday for Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel II. lost butterfly, the second film in the Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel anime film trilogy. The trailer reveals that Odex's screening of the film in Malaysia will open on April 18. The film was earlier slated for February 28.
The film opened in 131 theaters in Japan on January 12, and sold 363,080 tickets to earn 602,841,741 yen (about US$5.55 million), topping the Japanese box office rankings in Japan in its first three days. The film has so far earned a total of 1,429,918,296 yen (about US$12.93 million).
The first film, Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel I. presage flower, opened at #1 at the Japanese box office by both attendance and box office earnings in October 2017. The film sold a total of 980,000 tickets to earn 1.5 billion yen (about US$13.5 million). Odex previously screened the first film in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Brunei on various dates for each territory from November 2017 through February 2018.
Tomonori Sudō (Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, Fate/Zero animation director) is directing the films, and ufotable is animating the work. Yuki Kajiura (Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works theme song composer, Fate/Zero music and theme song composer) is composing the music. Takahiro Miura is providing the storyboards. Aimer performed the theme song for both the first and second films.
The third film, Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel III. spring song, will open in spring 2020.
