Elex Media Licenses Serious Princess & Stationery Prince Manga

Indonesian publisher Elex Media Komputindo announced last Friday that it has licensed Aako Fujiwara's Serious Princess & Stationery Prince (Kimajime Hime to Bunbōgu Ōji) and Emi Ishikawa's Scary Lessons - Reincarnation (Zekkyō Gakkyū: Tensei) manga.
Elex Media describes Serious Princess & Stationery Prince:
Kanoko took on a job as a lecturer at a university in Kyoto, partially in order to escape from an unfulfilled and unrequited love. In her new job, she shares an office with a man who is in love with writing and stationery. Sometimes, he is understanding; at other times, he is brusque and rude. Yes is this the beginning of a new romance for Kanoko?
Fujiwara launched the ongoing manga in Shogakukan's Monthly Spirits magazine in March 2017. Shogakukan published the manga's second compiled book volume last October.
Ishikawa's original Zekkyō Gakkyū manga follows a ghost girl named Yomi as she tells the reader various scary stories. Ishikawa began publishing the series in Shueisha's Ribon magazine in 2008, and the company published the 20th and final compiled volume in Japan in March 2015. Ishikawa then launched the Zekkyō Gakkyū: Tensei series in Ribon in June 2015, and Shueisha published the eight compiled volume last September.
The manga inspired two short anime specials that both aired on the Oha-Suta variety program in 2016.
The manga received a "vomic" (voice + comic) video in 2010, a three-episode series of anime shorts that aired in 2012 inside the Oha-Suta morning variety program, and a live-action film that opened in Japan in June 2013.
The original manga won the children's category of the Shogakukan Manga Awards in 2014. Elex Media published all 20 volumes of the original manga in Indonesia.
