Super Robot Wars DD Smartphone Game's 6-Minute 2nd Promo Video Streamed

Bandai Namco Entertainment began streaming a second promotional video on Saturday or its Super Robot Taisen DD (Super Robot Wars DD) smartphone game. The video previews JAM Project's theme song "D.D (Dimension Driver)."
The game will launch for iOS and Android devices in Japan this year, and will feature the following series:

- Kotetsu Zieg
- Getter Robo: Armageddon
- MazinKaiser
- Chō Denji Robo Combattler V
- Chō Denji Machine Voltes V
- Aura Battler Dunbine
- Armored Trooper Votoms
- Aoki Ryūsei SPT Layzner
- GaoGaiGar: King of the Braves
- Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion
- Zegapain
- Zegapain ADP
- Valvrave the Liberator
- Mobile Suit Z Gundam
- Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack
- Mobile Suit Gundam Seed
- Mobile Suit Gundam 00
- Mobile Suit Gundam UC
- Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans
- Full Metal Panic!
- Evangelion: 1.0 You Are [Not] Alone
- Evangelion: 2.0 You Can [Not] Advance
As with other games in the franchise, the game will also include original characters and mechs. The game will be free to play but will include optional in-app purchases. Pre-registration is available now.
The most recent game in the franchise, Super Robot Taisen X (Super Robot Wars X), launched for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in Japan in March 2018. The game then shipped in Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia) with English subtitles in April 2018. Bandai Namco Entertainment also released the Super Robot Wars X-Ω smartphone game in October 2015 and continues to add new characters and mechs.
The Super Robot Taisen T (Super Robot Wars T) game will launch for PS4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan and Southeast Asia on March 20.
