Viz Media to Release Sailor Moon Stars Anime on Home Video Starting in Spring 2019

Viz Media announced at a Sailor Moon panel at the Anime NYC event on Sunday that it will release the first half of the Sailor Moon Stars anime on home video in spring 2019. Pre-orders will be available soon.
Viz Media's release will mark the first time Sailor Moon Stars, which is the fifth and final season of the original Sailor Moon television anime series, is getting a home video release in North America.
Similar to Viz Media's previous Sailor Moon sets, the release will have a limited edition Blu-ray Disc/DVD combo pack, a standard Blu-ray Disc/DVD combo pack, and a standard DVD release. The limited edition set will include a full-color episode guide inside a collector's chipboard box.
The anime originally aired for 34 episodes from 1996 to 1997.
Viz Media released Sailor Moon SuperS, the fourth anime season, on home video in two sets on April 24 and November 13.
