The wraparound jacket band for the second and final compiled volume of Saya Usato's Pan to Boku no Momo-chan (Bread and my momo) manga announced on Saturday that the manga will get an anime in Production I.G's Anime Beans app beginning this month.
The anime stars Daiki Kobayashi as Shiro and Yuka Masuda as Momo.
The story follows a boy named Shiro and his aunt, Momo, who live together after the death of Shiro's mother, Momo's older sister. Shiro makes bread for Momo in the mornings.
Usato launched the manga in North Star Pictures' Web Comic Zenyon website in June 2017 and ended in June 2018.
Production I.G launched the Tate Anime app in June 2017 and it ended service on May 31. The app offered short (about three-minute) anime that update on weekdays, and each series had 10 episodes. The anime was presented vertically for smartphones. Production I.G rebranded the app as Anime Beans in June, and it no longer features exclusively vertical anime.
