Dragon Ball Super: Broly Film's English Dub Opens on January 16 After Hollywood Premiere (Updated)

FUNimation Entertainment announced on Tuesday that its English dub of the Dragon Ball Super: Broly film will open in theaters in the United States and Canada on January 16. Prior to this, the company will hold a dub world premiere at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood on December 13.
In addition, Funimation confirmed that Vic Mignogna and Dameon Clarke will return as the English voices of Broly and Paragus, respectively, and Chris Ayres will play Frieza. Mignogna and fellow cast members Christopher Sabat (Vegeta/Piccolo), Monica Rial (Bulma), Jason Douglas (Beerus), and Ian Sinclair (Whis) are joining Funimation's Dragon Ball Super panel at New York Comic Con on October 5. Previously announced guests for the panel include Masako Nozawa (Japanese voice of Goku), the film's director Tatsuya Nagamine, and Sean Schemmel (English voice of Goku).
The film will open in Japan on December 14.
Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama is writing the script and designing the characters. Tatsuya Nagamine (One Piece Film Z) is directing the film, Naohiro Shintani is serving as animation director, and Kazuo Ogura is serving as art director. Norihito Sumitomo is composing the music, Rumiko Nagai is the color designer, Naotake Oota is in charge of special effects, and Kai Makino is the CG director. Toei is distributing the film in collaboration with 20th Century Fox.
