Ulysses: Jeanne d'Arc and the Alchemist Knight Anime Reveals Cast, Visual

A livestream program for the anime adaptation of Mikage Kasuga's Ulysses: Jeanne d'Arc to Renkin no Kishi (Ulysses: Jeanne d'Arc and the Alchemist Knight) novel series revealed additional cast, a new key visual, and the October 7 premiere on Friday.
The new cast members are: (Note: character name romanizations are not confirmed.)

Hidenori Takahashi as Xaintrailles
The anime will premiere on October 7 on Tokyo MX at 10:00 p.m., followed by Sun TV at 11:30 p.m., and it will then premiere on BS Fuji on October 8 at 24:00 (effectively October 9 at 12:00 a.m.). Crunchyroll will stream the series this fall.

Shin Itagaki (Teekyū all nine seasons, Basquash!, Wake Up, Girls! New Chapter) is directing the anime at AXsiZ (Pandora in the Crimson Shell: Ghost Urn, Ms. Koizumi loves ramen noodles). Ryunosuke Kingetsu (Märchen Mädchen, Ninja Nonsense, Tales of Symphonia the Animation: Tethe'alla Episode) is handling the series composition. Jouji Sawada (Golden Kids) is handling the animation character designs, Ryousuke Naya (Magical Girl Site, Haitai Nanafa) is the sound director, and Taku Iwasaki (Gurren Lagann, Bungo Stray Dogs, Black Butler) is composing the music.
The novel series' story takes place in 15th-century France, during the Hundred Years' War with England. Montmorency, the son of a noble, immerses himself in the study of magic and alchemy at a school for knights. However, after France's defeat at Agincourt, the school is disbanded and Montmorency is forced to flee. While on the run he meets a miraculous village girl named Jeanne.
Kasuga released the first volume with illustrations by tomari Meron in August 2015. Shueisha published the fourth and most recent regular volume on February 23. The Ulysses 0: Jeanne d'Arc to Hime Kishi Danchō Kuroshi prequel novel shipped on October 25.
Yagi Shinba and Hirafumi launched a digital manga adaptation for the series titled Ulysses: Jeanne d'Arc to Hyakunen Sensō no Himitsu (Ulysses: Jeanne d'Arc and the Secret of the Hundred Year War) on February 28.
Kasuga's Oda Nobuna no Yabō (The Ambition of Oda Nobuna) light novel series also inspired a television anime in 2012.
