Live-action Chinese version of Nobuyuki Fukumoto's Kaiji manga

UK Anime News reports that the Chinese live-action feature Animal World, based on Nobuyuki Fukumoto's Kaiji manga, is currently on limited release in UK cinemas.

Directed by China's Han Yan (Go Away, Mr. Tumour), the film features Li Yi Feng as the hero, named in the film as Zheng Kaisi, with a supporting role from Michael Douglas.
