Tokimeki Restaurant App Ends Service on August 31

The official website for the Tokimeki Restaurant☆☆☆ smartphone game revealed on Friday that the game will end service on August 31 at 2:00 p.m. Koei Tecmo Games assured fans that even though the game is ending service, there will still be live events, collaborations, and idol activities for the franchise.
The game will halt the sale of in-game Jewels on July 31, and will offer refunds for paid Jewels between September 1 and November 30. The game launched a price change for Jewels on Friday.
Konami released the smartphone game in 2013, but Koei Tecmo Games took over management of the game in 2014. In the romance simulation game, players control a new chef at a small restaurant. At the restaurant she meets several male idols who are regulars at the restaurant and who live nearby. Players manage the restaurant while also romancing the characters.
The game is a spinoff of Konami's Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side game series.
The game inspired the Tokimeki Restaurant☆☆☆ Miracle6 anime film, which opened in Japan on February 10. The film ranked #5 in the mini-theater ranking in its opening weekend. The film celebrated the game's fifth anniversary.
