The official website for the television anime of GCREST's 100 Sleeping Princes and the Kingdom of Dreams: The Animation (Yume Ōkoku to Nemureru 100-Nin no Ōji-sama) smartphone puzzle role-playing game revealed a new key visual and three more character designs, as well as the anime's July 5 premiere. It also revealed that three characters, as seen in the visual and designs, are returning from the original game with their respective voice cast members:
The series will premiere first on the AT-X channel on July 5 at 10:30 p.m., and it will also run on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, and BS 11. It will have an advance screening with Suzumura, Yamashita, and other guests in Tokyo on June 23.
The cast also includes:
Suzumura and Yamashita are reprising their roles from the game. The game's cast of princes also includes Shōta Chōnan (Luke), Takeaki Masuyama (Medi), Showtaro Morikubo (Byakuyō), Ayumu Murase (Hinata), Mamoru Miyano (Kairi), and Sōichirō Hoshi (Shigure).
The game, which launched on Android and iOS devices in 2015, has the theme of romance with a prince "whom every woman dreams of." The game lets players experience love with over 100 princes who live in the Kingdom of Dreams. Players solve puzzles to wake up the princes from their deep slumber.
The game already inspired a series of web anime shorts last year. Shin Katagai (Neo Angelique Abyss) directed the web anime version at Satelight.
