La Corda D'Oro 3 Games' PS Vita Ports Previewed in Video

Games ship in Japan on September 20

Koei Tecmo's Ruby Party began streaming a trailer for its PlayStation Vita ports of Kin-iro no Corda 3 Full Voice Special (La Corda D'Oro 3 Full Voice Special) and all three Kin-iro no Corda 3 Another Sky (La Corda D'Oro 3 Another Sky) games on Thursday. The video shows scenes from the game and previews bonuses that will ship with the games.

The games will launch in Japan on September 20. Kin-iro no Corda 3 Full Voice Special will get a "treasure box" release and the three Kin-iro no Corda 3 Another Sky games will get a three-in-one treasure box release. Both releases will include an illustration collection, soundtrack CD, and "5 years later" booklet. All four games will also get a joint release with the same bonuses, as well as an additional soundtrack CD and drama CDs (including drama CDs that debuted with previous releases of the games).

The original Kin-iro no Corda 3 game shipped in Japan on the PSP and PlayStation 2 systems in February 2010. The fully-voiced special edition, which also included new events and still images, shipped in Japan in September 2013.

The Kin-iro no Corda 3 Another Sky games take place in alternate timelines where the protagonist becomes a student at rival schools. Each PlayStation Portable game featured a different school: Kin-iro no Corda 3 Another Sky feat. Jinnan shipped in January 2014, Kin-iro no Corda 3 Another Sky feat. Shiseikan shipped in March 2014, and Kin-iro no Corda 3 Another Sky feat. Amane Gakuen shipped in September 2014.

The La Corda d'Oro game franchise inspired a 26-episode television anime series in 2006, and a two-episode television special sequel, La Corda D'Oro ~secondo passo~, aired in spring of 2009. A third anime, La Corda d'Oro Blue Sky, premiered in 2014 and ran for 12 episodes. Crunchyroll streamed all three anime and Sentai Filmworks released La Corda d'Oro and La Corda d'Oro Blue Sky in North America.
