posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
The staff for Love is Like a Cocktail, the television anime adaptation of Crystal na Yōsuke's Osake wa Fūfu ni Natte kara manga, announced at a talk presentation at the Machi Asobi event on Saturday that the anime is getting a 14th episode. Arisa Nakata, who plays Koharu Sakurai in the series, also said, "With everyone's help, maybe a second season!? I definitely want to do it, so please continue to support us!" Crystal na Yōsuke was also at the event, and said "I truly think we'll be able to do a second season, so please continue giving your support."
The series premiered in Japan on October 3 and had 13 episodes.
Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired, and it describes the story:
Quiet but capable, Mizusawa Chisato is a beautiful leader who has a secret that only her husband, Sora, knows about: she loves to drink, and when she's drunk, she becomes extremely adorable! What bliss will Sora's cocktail bring tonight? "Yoidere," the drunken comedy cocktail about Japan's most lovey-dovey couple.
The anime's cast includes: Mitsuhiro Ichiki as Sora Mizusawa, Eri Kitamura as Chisato Mizusawa, Ayaka Asai as Yui Shiraishi, and Arisa Nakata as Koharu Sakurai.
Saori Tachibana (episode director for Little Witch Academia) directed the anime at Creators in Pack. Hisayoshi Hirasawa (Netsuzou Trap -NTR-, Ojisan to Marshmallow) served as chief director. Yuzuko Hanai (episode animation director for Little Witch Academia, Kiznaiver) designed the characters. WORDS in STEREO (Kiitaro's yokai picture diary, Netsuzou Trap -NTR-) wrote the scripts and was in charge of series composition. Cellchrome performed the show's theme song "Don't Let Me Down."
