My Sweet Tyrant Creator Waka Kakitsubata Launches New Manga

Waka Kakitsubata launched on LINE Manga as part of Kadokawa's new "Gene LINE" label on Thursday. The manga is titled Oitsukenaishi Modorenai (Can't Catch Up, Can't Go Back).
The story follows Hiori Naoe, the handsome 38-year-old manager of a cafe, and Mako Azusawa, the level-headed high school girl who works there part time. Mako is always chastising Hiyori for acting narcissistic, but she is secretly charmed by his good looks.
Kadokawa launched Gene LINE on April 27. The service updates daily with both Japanese and foreign comics, and will launch a series every day until May 10. The first new series, which launched on April 27, was college haiku seminar manga Hoshitonde, by Gaikotsu Shotenin Honda-san's Honda.
Kakitsubata launched Akkun to Kanojo in Kadokawa's josei magazine Monthly Comic Gene in June 2013.The manga is inspiring a series of anime shorts that premiered on April 6. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime under the title My Sweet Tyrant.
