ASCA, Mashiro Ayano Return for 2nd Record of Grancrest War Theme Songs

The official website for the television anime of author Ryo Mizuno and illustrator Miyū's Record of Grancrest War (Grancrest Senki) light novel series announced the theme song artists for the anime's second half on Friday. ASCA (first photo) will perform the anime's second opening theme song "Rin." The song's CD single ships on May 9. Mashiro Ayano (second photo) will perform the anime's second ending theme song "Shōdō" (Impulse). The song's CD single ships on May 16. The second half of the anime begins in April.
ASCA performed the first half's ending theme song "PLEDGE," while Ayano performed the first half's opening theme song "starry."
The anime premiered in Japan on January 5. Aniplex of America is streaming the series on Crunchyroll and Hulu as it airs. The anime will have 24 episodes.
Mamoru Hatakeyama (Shōwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjū, Sankarea: Undying Love) is directing the series at A-1 Pictures. Mizuno and tabletop RPG writer Shunsaku Yano are in charge of series composition. WriteWorks is credited with the script, and Hiroshi Yakou (animation director for Prison School, Heavy Object) is designing the characters. Yūgo Kanno (Psycho-Pass, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable) is composing the music, and Yoshikazu Iwanami (Fate/Zero, Kill la Kill) is sound director.
