The Usotsuki Hime to Mōmoku Ōji game will focus on a heartrending love story between a monster disguised as a princess who guides a blind prince. The livestream revealed visuals for the game.
The concept for the game originated from a female web designer for Nippon Ichi Software who submitted the idea in 2017 during for the company's annual "Nippon Ichi Kikaku-sai" event that chooses one submission to become a game. Previous titles that originated from past events are the htoL#NiQ -Hotaru no Nikki- game and the Yomawari: Night Alone game.
