The official website for the stage play adaptations of the Diabolik Lovers anime and game franchise revealed the cast visuals and main visual for the third stage play, Diabolik Lovers More, Blood, on Thursday.
The previously revealed cast includes:
Kazuhara Ara as Ayato Sakamaki (replacing Taiki Yamazaki)
Yūsaku Satō as Kanato Sakamaki (replacing Shōhei Hashimoto and Kaiki Ōhara)
Katsuhiko Ibuka as Laito Sakamaki (returning)
Aren Kohatsu as Shū Sakamaki (replacing Yūya Asato)
Shin'ichi Wagō as Reiji Sakamaki (replacing Shungo Takasaki)
Gaku Takamoto as Subaru Sakamaki (replacing Kazumi Doi)
Shūsuke Saitō as Ruki Mukami
Mahiro Sugiyama as Kō Mukami
Taisei Nishino as Azusa Mukami
Ayumi Takamune as Yui Komori (returning)
Kōsuke Azuma is also playing Yūma Mukami in the play. Two of the cast members are returning from the previous play, but most of the cast members are new.
The new play will run at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel's Club eX event hall in Tokyo from January 24-28. Yūsei Naruse is directing the play and Guiya Ohda is writing the script.
The second play, Diabolik Lovers~re:requiem~ (pictured right), ran in August 2016. The first Diabolik Lovers stage play originally ran at the Rikkōkai Theater in Tokyo's Shinagawa ward in August 2015.
Rejet's original Diabolik Lovers vampire drama CD and PlayStation Portable game project centers around the six sadistic Sakamaki vampire brothers. Yui Komori is a positive-thinking girl who nevertheless is troubled by seeing spirits and experiencing poltergeist phenomena. In her second year in high school, she transfers to a new school — a night school for entertainers and celebrities — due to her father's work. There are rumors that there are vampires among the student body, and Yui ends up living with the Sakamaki brothers.
The studio ZEXCS adapted the franchise into a television anime in 2013, and the second season, Diabolik Lovers More, Blood, premiered in September 2015. Crunchyroll streamed both series as they aired in Japan. Sentai Filmworks released both anime on home video with an English dub.
