Earth Defense Force 5 Game's 6th Promo Video, Nana Asakawa Ads Streamed (Updated)

D3 Publisher began streaming a sixth promotional video for its Earth Defense Force 5 third-person shooter game on Thursday. The video previews the game's story, gameplay, and EDF types, including Ranger, Wing Diver, Fencer, and Air Raider.

D3 Publisher also began streaming two commercials on Friday, and also a making-of video for the commercials. The ads feature SUPER☆GiRLS' Nana Asakawa urging people to enlist in the EDF.
The game will launch in Japan for the PlayStation 4 on December 7. The game was initially slated for this summer but D3 Publisher delayed the game to improve its quality.
In the game, the Earth is at peace when suddenly an alien life form called "immigrants" attack, and the EDF must again take up arms against the invaders. The new enemy in this latest game in the series is a humanoid enemy.
