Kadokawa's Nyantype Magazine Ceases Publication

Magazine with focus on bishōjo characters launched in 2008
The official website for Kadokawa's Nyantype magazine announced on Monday that the magazine will cease publication after the January issue on November 30. However, the staff are having discussions on continuing the "Nyantype" brand name with mooks (magazine/books) and special edition magazines.
The magazine launched in 2008 as a spinoff of Newtype magazine with a focus on bishōjo (pretty girl) characters. The magazine includes pinups and features, and was serializing Humikane Shimada and Nanateru's World Witches: Contrail of Witches manga. The manga is also running online.
