Black Clover Gets Card Battle Arcade Game in November

Bandai Namco Entertainment revealed on Monday that it is developing a card battle arcade game based on Yūki Tabata's Black Clover manga titled Black Clover Grimoire Battle. The game will arrive in arcades in Japan on November 2.
In the game, players use cards to use spells and characters. Players can use a party of up to five characters, and put them in offensive, defensive, or support roles. Players use attacks to lower their opponent's life, while using other characters to prevent their own life from going down. Players who lose their total life first lose the game. In the game, players use an avatar, and possess the a special Grimoire known as the "Sprout Grimoire" that is able to acquire all magical attributes, and is even able to acquire and use the magic used by characters in the series.
The original manga launched in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 2015. Shueisha published the manga's 14th compiled book volume on October 4. Viz Media released the manga's eighth volume on August 1.
The manga's television anime adaptation premiered on October 3. Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs in Japan, and Funimation will stream a simuldub.
