Kuruneko Anime's Main Cast Revealed

The official Twitter account for Production I.G's "Tate Anime" (Vertical Anime) smartphone app revealed the cast for the new Kuruneko anime on June 29.
The cast includes:
- Asami Imai as Kuru-san
- Aoi Yūki as Mon-san
- Yuka Iguchi as Pocchan
- Ayahi Takagaki as Bon
- Ayaka Suwa as Tomecha
- Yukiyo Fujii as Kobon-kun
- Jun Kasama as Narrator
The staff will announce the anime's premiere date on the "Tate Anime" app at a later time. The app itself launched on June 5.
Kuruneko is based on Yamato Kuruneko's cat manga blog, and revolves around a 30-something commercial designer who is completely devoted to sake and her five cats. The first anime premiered in 2009, with a second season in 2010. Satomi Kobayashi voiced all the roles in the first season, while Miki Nakatani did the same in the second season.
