Bandai Namco Entertainment began streaming three tutorial videos for its upcoming Tekken 7 fighting game on Monday. The first video shows the game's new Rage Art and Rage Drive mechanics.
The second video shows the game's movement options, and how they can be used to evade attacks.
The third video shows the game's new Power Crush mechanic, and shows how it can be used to interrupt high and mid attacks.
The game will arrive for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC via Steam on Friday. The game was originally slated for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the PC in the West in early 2017, and in spring 2017 in Japan. The game is available for pre-order now, and people who pre-order the game will receive the Tekken Revolution vampire character Eliza as DLC. The Xbox One version will include a copy of Tekken 6.
The Tekken 7 Collector's Edition for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will bundle a statue of Kazuya and Heihachi, a Steelbook case, and a soundtrack. The Tekken 7 Season Pass for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC will grant access to three content packs with new playable characters, new stages, a new game mode, costume packs, and a 35-piece Metallic Costume Pack. The three content packs will also be available for purchase separately. The Tekken 7 Digital Deluxe Edition for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC will include the game and the Season Pass.
The PlayStation 4 version will include exclusive costumes for King, Xiaoyu, and Jin from Tekken 4 and Tekken 2. The PlayStation 4 version will also include a Jukebox Mode that lets players listen to classic Tekken music and create playlists to listen to while playing.
The game is getting a new Online Tournament mode that allows players to fight against other players worldwide. In the game, players will follow the story from the Mishima clan's point-of-view, but the game will also include story arcs focusing on other fighters.
