Voice Actor Takuya Eguchi Launches Manga About Life Experiences, Everyday Topics

Voice actor Takuya Eguchi announced on Sunday that he is launching a new manga titled Eguchi Takuya no Gainen Planet (Takuya Eguch's Conceptual Planet) on Kadokawa's Dengeki Girl's Style Online website. The first chapter is scheduled to be available on Monday, though it is not yet on the site. It will have one new chapter every month. Kadokawa streamed an announcement video for the manga.
The video debuted at the "Dengeki Girl's Style Special Stage feat. Otomate" stage event at Sunday's "Dengeki Game Festival 2017 & Dengeki Bunko Spring Festival 2017 & Dengeki Comic Festival 2017." The video will stream until March 19.
Eguchi is drawing the four-panel manga, and the stories draw from his own life experiences, where he will discuss everyday topics and concepts in a way that will make the reader rethink them. The first chapter deals with love.
Eguchi is known for publicizing the characters he creates in doodles, including "Egumon," a character he drew and created to promote his and Kōtarō Nishiyama's Eguchi Takuya no Ore-tachi Datte Iyasaretai! ("Takuya Eguchi's 'We Want to Be Healed!'") travel show. Eguchi attempted to draw a giraffe in his first time using a Wacom tablet in December. He has also attempted to draw Kirimi-chan, Sanrio's salmon idol mascot.
