This year's March issue of Shueisha's Miracle Jump magazine announced on Tuesday that the magazine is temporarily halting publication to "recharge" in preparation for a renewal. Shueisha will reveal more details on the renewal in its Weekly Young Jump magazine and website.
Several of the manga serialized in Miracle Jump ended on Tuesday including the following:
- Sankaku Head and Hijiki's Himōto! Umaru-chan SS
- Seto Utsumi's Kimi ni Okuru Roadshow
- Momojirō Aijima's Boy Meets Butsu Girl
- Motoi Tanaka's Akudō Bunko
- nojo's Pure Collector
- Masaomi Itō's Tane mo Shikake mo nai Love Story
Hiroya Oku and Keita Iizuka's GANTZ:G manga will also end, though the final chapter will run in Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ digital magazine. The third and final compiled volume will ship on March 17.
The Retort Pouch! manga by Mengo Yokoyari (Scum's Wish) was on break in Tuesday's issue. The series will relaunch on the Tonari no Young Jump website in April and then move to a Young Jump magazine in May.
Shueisha launched Miracle Jump as a bimonthly version of its earlier Monthly Young Jump magazine in 2011. The magazine previously went on hiatus in 2013 to "recharge," and returned in 2014 as a monthly magazine.
