"Omoi yo Hitotsu ni Nare/MIRAI TICKET," Aqours' seventh single, recently ranked #3 on Oricon's CD singles chart in its first week November. The single sold 36,579 copies in its first week.
The single is the group's seventh in a row to reach the top 5 on Oricon's weekly ranking charts, beginning with the group's first single, "Kimi no Kokoro wa Kagayaiteru kai?," which ranked #3 with 48,000 copies in its first week in October 2015. The group's sixth single, "Yume de Yozora o Terashitai/Mijuku DREAMER," ranked #2 in September.
The Love Live! Sunshine!! anime premiered last July. Funimation, Crunchyroll, and Daisuki streamed the series outside of Japan.
The Love Live! Sunshine!! project was first announced in February 2015. The project's three key phrases are "Reader Participation," "Inspired by μ's," and "Seaside Town Setting." The group's name Aqours was chosen by fans by popular vote.
