The fourth and final volume of Ayumi Komura's Mori no Takuma-san (Takuma of the Forest) manga revealed on Friday that Komura is launching a spinoff of her Usotsuki Lily manga. The manga will be a boys-love manga that will revolve around Taiyō and Ten. Taiyō is the younger brother of Usotsuki Lily protagonist Hinata, and Ten is the younger brother of Hinata's cross-dressing boyfriend En.
Shueisha is publishing the spinoff manga digitally on the Margaret Book Store website starting on December 22.
Komura ended her 17-volume cross-dressing shōjo manga Usotsuki Lily (Liar Lily) in May 2014, after a five-year run.
Komura then launched the Full Dozer manga in December 2014, and ended the series in August 2015 before launching Mori no Takuma-san in October 2015.
Viz Media published Komura's Mixed Vegetables manga in print and digital forms in North America. The American Library Association's Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) division listed the first Mixed Vegetables volume among the "great graphic novels for teens" published in 2009.
