Harmony, Photo-Kano and Gundam Reconguista Released Monday

On Monday November 7, Anime Limited will release Project Itoh: Harmony as a Collectors Blu-ray (pictured) and a standard DVD. The Blu-ray will contain an art card and a booklet.The film is part of a series of anime films that adapt the works of the late novelist Project Itoh. Haikasoru describes Harmony's original novel:
In the future, Utopia has finally been achieved thanks to medical nanotechnology and a powerful ethic of social welfare and mutual consideration. This Perfect World isn't that perfect though, and three young girls stand up to totalitarian kindness and super-medicine by attempting suicide via starvation. It doesn't work, but one of the girls—Tuan Kirie—grows up to be a member of the World Health Organization. As a crisis threatens the Harmony of the new world, Tuan rediscovers another member of her suicide pact, and together they must help save the planet...from itself.
MVM will release Photo Kano for Blu-ray and DVD. This is Madhouse's television anime adaptation of Kadokawa Games, Enterbrain, and Dingo's Photo Kano PSP dating simulation game.
In the original game which inspired the series, the player is an ordinary second-year high school student named Kazuya Maeda (played by Nobunaga Shimazaki) who gets a single-lens reflex camera at the end of summer vacation. He begins taking pictures of the girls at his school, and the photos may lead to romance. The show also stars Akiko Hasegawa, Asuka Ōgame, Aya Endō, Ayahi Takagaki, and Chiwa Saitō.
Anime Limited will also release the complete Gundam Reconguista in G as a Blu-ray set. Created for the 35th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam, Gundam Reconguista in G sees the return of Yoshiyuki Tomino, the original creator of Mobile Suit Gundam, as the new series' Chief Director, writer and original director. The series is set in Regild Century Year 1014 (R.C. 1014) where the creation of humanoid mobile suits of war is now taboo. Earth is now connected to space via the sacred orbital elevator, Capital Tower, which humanity uses to bring energy in the form of Photon Batteries to the surface.
Bellri Zenam is a cadet in the Capital Guard, the protectors of the tower. During a training exercise pirates attack the tower and Bellri crosses paths with the G-Self, a mobile suit with unknown technology. Bellri is successful in capturing the suit and it's pilot, Aiida Reihanton, and soon discovers the G-Self, which should only be operable under certain conditions, will now move under his own hand. Now Bellri must pilot the G-Self to uncover the mysteries behind the space pirates, the G-Self and his own destiny.
