DAYS Soccer Anime Casts Yūichi Nakamura, Ryota Ohsaka, Shunsuke Takeuchi

The official website for the anime adaptation of Tsuyoshi Yasuda's DAYS soccer manga revealed three new cast members on Sunday.
Yūichi Nakamura as Takumi Hoshina
Ryota Ohsaka as Atomu Isurugi
Shunsuke Takeuchi as Shizuka Ura
The three characters are members of the Tōin Academy soccer club. Takumi is the captain and a midfielder, Atomu is the goalkeeper, and Shizuka is a defender.
The anime premiered on July 2, and it will have 24 episodes. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime as it airs in Japan. Ponycan USA plans to release the series in the U.S.
The story centers on two boys who were never meant to meet: Tsukushi Tsukamoto, who has no special skills but secretly hides a passionate heart, and Jin Kazama, an isolated soccer genius. On a stormy night, the two meet, and that meeting creates a whirlwind in the world of high school soccer.
