Anime Festival Asia Indonesia Hosts Yōhei Azakami, Chika Anzai

Southeast Asian convention Anime Festival Asia announced on Facebook on on Tuesday that its Indonesian event will host Yōhei Azakami and Chika Anzai. In addition, convention staff revealed that the Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress will be a featured anime for the convention, and that Maaya Uchida will be part of the promotion, in addition to already being a musical guest for the convention.
Azakami was born in Gunma prefecture, and graduated from Aoni Production's Seiyū Academy. He debuted in 2011 with minor roles in Guilty Crown and One Piece. He voiced his first major role in Gakkatsu! in 2012, and voices Kennosuke Tokisada Ouma in the ongoing anime Kuromukuro, P.A. Works' 15th anniversary anime. He has also appeared in radio programs.
Kuromukuro will be a featured anime for the convention.
Anzai was born in Fukui prefecture. She made her major debut playing the character Nagisa Mikogami in the Anyamaru Tantei Kiruminzū anime. She has since voiced roles in such anime as Danbōru Senki Wars (Sakuya Hosono), Riddle Story of Devil (Suzu Shutō), Chaika - The Coffin Princess (Chaika Travant), Tribe Cool Crew (Yūji Shishidō), Sound! Euphonium (Reina Kōsaka), Chaos Dragon (Inori), Sky Wizards Academy (Amie Mustung), Anti-Magic Academy: The 35th Test Platoon (Kiseki Kusanagi), Magical Suite Prism Nana (Mako Hiragi/Eleki Nana), and Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash (Mary). She has performed theme songs for Riddle Story of Devil, Chaika - The Coffin Princess, Sound! Euphonium, and Taboo Tattoo.
Her two most recent roles include Tōko Ichinose from Taboo Tattoo and Asuha Chigusa from Qualidea Code, the latter of which is a featured anime for the convention.
Maaya Uchida debuted as a voice actress in 2010, and got her first major role as Mari in the Yuruyuri - Happy Go Lily television anime in 2011. She has performed roles in numerous anime series since then, including Sankarea: Undying Love (Rea), Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! (Rikka Takanashi), Noragami (Hiyori), The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls (Ranko Kanzaki), and Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress (Ayame). She has performed theme songs for such anime as Ai Mai Mi, Gatchaman Crowds, Riddle Story of Devil, Robot Girls Z, Gonna be the Twin-Tail!!, and Cerberus. She released Penki, her first studio album, last December, and it ranked #6 on the Oricon weekly album charts in its first week.
The musical acts for the Indonesia convention include Aimer, bless4, Eir Aoi, Elisa, Lia, livetune+, Maaya Uchida, and nano. AFA Indonesia will take place on September 16-18 at the Jakarta International Expo.
