Asterisk War: Queenveil no Tsubasa Manga Spinoff Ends in September

The September issue of Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine revealed on Tuesday that Shō Akane will end the Gakusen Toshi Asterisk Gaiden: Queenveil no Tsubasa manga in the magazine's next issue, which Kodansha will publish on September 9.
The spinoff manga focuses on Queenveil Girls Academy, one of six academies in the academy city of Asterisk. The story focuses on Queenveil student Minato Wakamiya, who, with 49 straight defeats, is considered the weakest student in the school. But for the sake of a dream, she fights on.
Akane launched the manga in Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in 2014. Kodansha published the manga's third compiled book volume on April 8.
The manga is a spinoff of Yuu Miyazaki and okiura's The Asterisk War: The Academy City on the Water (Gakusen Toshi Asterisk) light novel series. Miyazaki launched the novel series in 2012, and Media Factory published the 10th volume on March 25. The light novels have inspired a separate manga adaptation by Ningen. Yen Press licensed both the light novels and the manga, and released the first volume of the manga on July 26.
The series inspired two television anime series. The first premiered last October, and the second premiered in April. Aniplex of America licensed both anime, and streamed both series on Daisuki, Crunchyroll, Funimation, Aniplex Channel, and Hulu.
