Girlish Number Anime Casts Eri Suzuki, Saori Ōnishi

The official website for the television anime of Wataru Watari and QP:flapper's Girlish Number novel project announced in July two more cast members. Eri Suzuki (Flying Witch's Chinatsu) will play Momoka Sonō, and Saori Ōnishi (Food Wars! The Second Plate's Hisako) will play Kazuha Shibasaki.
The show stars:
Sayaka Senbongi (Chronicles of the Going Home Club's Claire Kokonoe) as Chitose Karasuma
Kaede Hondo (Magical Somera-chan's Kukuru Nonomoto) as Yae Kugayama
Yui Ishikawa (Attack on Titan's Mikasa Ackerman) as Koto Katakura
Kazuya Nakai as Kuzu-P
Yūichirō Umehara as Gojō Karasuma
The anime will premiere on TBS, Sun TV, and BS-TBS in October.
The story follows the lives of Chitose Karasuma, a college student who aspires to be an idol voice actress, and other young women in the industry.
The March issue of Kadokawa's Dengeki G's Magazine launched the illustrated novel's serialization on January 30. Yūki Dōmoto launched a manga adaptation in Dengeki G's Comic's May issue on March 30. The first compiled volumes of both the novel and the manga went on sale in Japan on July 27.
